Summary

INB Wealth is currently seeking a professional to join the INB Wealth group as a 2024 Senior Business Tax Associate. Our Tax Professionals work as a team to help our clients with not only the compliance task of tax return preparation / filing, but also to identify strategies to limit taxation and maximize the client’s achievement of their long-term financial goals.

 

We’re looking for knowledgeable tax professionals with various levels of experience, with a minimum of 2+ tax seasons under their belt.  Our ideal candidate will have excellent general knowledge of Individual tax issues and be up-to-date on the latest changes in tax law.  We are also interested in candidates that have knowledge of State & Local tax filings, e.g. sales tax & payroll taxes, and/or Financial Services experience. These roles are targeted at 35-40 hours per week, with paid overtime as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the position.

  • Input and review of electronic data imported into tax filing software
  • Reviewing the draft return for related federal, state and local tax output for accuracy and completion.
  • Staying ahead of filing deadlines including flexibility to work overtime as needed to adjust to numerous changing priorities based upon workload all while maintaining the INB Wealth reputation as a Ramsey Trusted tax team.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure accurate high quality deliverables

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field) and/or a Juris Doctorate in Law
  • Progress toward, or completion of, a valid CPA certification, IRS Enrolled Agent status, or IL Licensed Attorney status
  • Ability to prioritize while simultaneously working on multiple complex projects
  • Proven experience in, and excellent general knowledge of, Individual Tax Return Preparation
  • Proven work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization
  • Candidates with experience in State & Local tax, and/or Financial
